On a less serious note.
I am still a couple weeks away from what would be called a full recovery for running so i am working on a spinning routine to improve my endurance and recovery for skating.
I have spun once this week while watching a hockey game and committed myself to a method of training where I go full bore for the same time as the players would play an actual shift of hockey (This translates to 45 to 60 secs for most first or second line players) with a rest period of 2 x that amount (ideally a minute 30 to 2 minutes) of recovery spinning.
Will this translate to better explosive speed in my coming hockey games? I won't be able to tell until a 4 - 6 week period has passed.
I miss running but will definitely wait 2 more weeks until I start again.

He's worn it for years and it smells ;)
