And I thought Iron Man Participants were Crazy!

At work I was talking to a customer and she told me her husband was going to run a marathon and I was curious because I knew there wasn't any local marathons going on. "Oh no!", she said, "he is a "ultra marathon" runner!" I asked here what distance that was and she told me, "anywhere from 50 to 100 miles!?!"

Wow, I thought. Someone crazier than Triguy ;)

My goddess sent me an Email about this guy (see picture) who is doing 51 marathons in 50 days (here is the link) Kinda makes a 10k or a half marathon seem like nothin.

A Doctor in the article comments on all the problems this guy may have when he finishes. This is a noble cause but at what personal cost?

I think balance in all aspects of life is still the key. Sacrifice is "sometimes" a necessity but not a requirement.

Little personal training done as we are doing a room renovation. I will get out and enjoy the weather as we have a nice cool day ahead and I got my "ride" back from the shop! WOOHOO!
