I'm in Need of Repair!

Well looks like I'm not the only one in need of repair!

Since you may have read I went for a tumble recently (see previous post) I figured it was time to take the bike in for a tune up (while I heal). The bike repair guy started by measuring the chain links and examining the rear cog. The next thing I knew the he tells me my chain has seen some "hard miles" (which is true) and it's done!

CRAP!

Since the chain was "done", best the rear cogs go (he says). Yep I heard this from Triguy. The cogs and chain should "wear" together...

DOUBLE CRAP!!

I barely got to ride the thing (the bike was purchased used). Repair guy says, "It was a question of bike safety", and well... My safety. He mentioned, "hills and chains breaking." Cripes, look at me on flat surfaces (see previous post). So I went for it!

Next thing I know, what was "a basic a tune up" is now an investment!

TRIPLE CRAP!!!

Well after all this work is done I will be very happy to get it on the road...

Sorry for all the crap ;)
